  5. This utility converts Ray Dream Studio files containing Poser animated data created by version 1.0.0.15 of the Poser plug-in, so they can work with version 1.0.0.16 or later of the plug-in.

  8. How to use PoserFix ?
  9. ---------------------
  10. Drag and drop your RDS files on the "Poser Fix" application, or open your files from the File/Convert Files menu in the application itself.

  13. When should I use PoserFix ?
  14. ------------------------------
  15. When any of the following is true:
  16. - Your RDS file containing animated Poser data cannot be open anymore in RDS (you get a message 
  17. - Your RDS file containing animated Poser data was created with version 1.0.0.15 of the plug-in and you are now using version 1.0.0.16 or better.

  19. You you import your Poser files using version 1.0.0.16 or better, you do not need to use PoserFix.

  22. Is the use of PoserFix potentially dangerous for my RDS file ?

  24. If no animated Poser data is found in the RDS file, the file will be left untouched.

  27. How do I know which version of the Poser RDS plug-in I have ?

  29. Launch RDS, and open the "About Extensions" dialog. Select "Primitive" in the left pane, and "Poser Scene" in the middle pane. The version number appears on the right side.

  32. What should I do if the version reads 1.0.0.15 ?
  33. ------------------------------------------
  34. You should upgrade to the lastest version available. It simply involves replacing the 4 following files located in the Poser3 subfolder inside "Ray Dream Extension" folder : CPoser, CPoser Data, CPsrMdlr, and CPsrMdlr Data. You can get the latest version of the plug-ins from MetaCreations Web site.

  37. What else should I know ?

  39. You MUST use version 1.0.0.16 or better of the plug-in with files that have been converted through the PoserFix utility, or you will loose the animation.
